Next steps • Identify further partners • Initial focus will be countries where nursing research is relatively well developed • Stimulate participation • Consolidate a strong Nursing Research Group that will lead the development of a Coordination Action to establish: The European Platform of Nursing Research

  7. Coordination Action Objectives • 4/5 year project • To coordinate efforts to support high quality nursing research over the long term, improving patient outcomes and promoting patient welfare across Europe

  8. Coordination Action Activities • Bringing together ministries and government funding agencies • Coordinating existing national and regional programs • Sharing information and good practice • Developing new joint activities
