  2. What does that even mean? • Do we all comprehend things the same? • Is their always a right and wrong in literature?

  3. Definition • Grasp mentally, understand • To take in the meaning, nature, or importance of; grasp.

  4. Quotes/ Descriptive Phrases • What quotes mean something to you? We have all read and posted and shared quotes that mean something to us. Like a verse in a song these quotes mean and relate to us. What do these actually voice to us. Do they seem as though they mean the same to all people?

  5. Your Assignment 1. Find one inspirational quote. (search for this quote) 2. Compose journal response that is 2 paragraphs long • Create a title for this paper Include these 2 paragraphs: 1. Describe what you think the quote means in your own words. Include other meanings this quote might have. 2. Why is this message so important to you and to people in general.
