    5. Our Challenges .. Attitude! If a child has one obese parent, they are 50% likely to become obese If a child has two obese parents, it is highly likely they will be pre disposed to obesity

Physical Activity Statistics 57.9% are inactive and doing zero days moderate intensity activity 24.1% of the adult population are doing some moderate intensity exercise (1-2 days per week) 18.0% of the adult population (16+) are physically active, participating in moderate intensity sport and active recreation for at least 30 minutes on 3 or more days per week (3 x 30) – national figure is 21%

Current Activity Segmentation and Social Marketing Building on the results of the Active People Survey and Mosaic profiling tool Sport England have produced segmentation data Nineteen sporting segments have been developed to help us understand attitudes, motivations and barriers to sport and active recreation Each segment can be explored at postcode level. Therefore possible to find out what people's sporting habits are in a particular street, community, local authority or region Able to understand which segments are the largest in any particular area and develop social marketing campaigns to appeal to specific segments
