Why Oxfam needs your support Every day, 1 in 7 people go to bed hungry, yet the world produces enough food to feed all 6 billion of us. More than 2,000 children die from unsafe water and poor sanitation every day. That’s one child every 45 seconds. We know education is essential, yet 121 million children globally are not in school.
