Start Point: Pak Tam Chung (Sai Kung) • NEW Finish Point: Po Leung Kuk Jockey Club Tai Tong Holiday Camp (Yuen Long) • Checkpoints and other parts of the trail will remain unchanged • It will be more challenging (uphill soiled paths) and is 2km longer than old route • Every walker MUST practice on the new section of trail to the New Finish Point

  6. Final 6km to New Finish In total, about 2km longer than the old route Speed record will be re-set from OTW 2009

  7. After departing CP9, follow the MacLehose Trail along the Tai Lam Chung Reservoir until you reach the end of the soiled path (about 200m after passing Distance Post M185)

  8. Then turn right towards the Yuen Long Tai Tong (Wong Nai Tun Reservoir) direction

  9. New Distance Posts from OTW186 are set up along the new route every 500m

  10. Arrive at New Route Control Point at the end of cement road. All teams must register at this Control Point. Teams failing to do so will be disqualified. Then head towards Tai Tong direction

  11. Dirt trail and dizzying steps along the coming 1.5km route. Be careful!

  12. Continue your walk towards Tai Tong when you see another junction Do NOT go to MacLehose Trail direction

  13. Dirt trail and dizzying steps again. Watch your steps!

  14. Turn right when you finish a section of steps (with cemented railing).

  15. Follow the Tai Lam Forrest Track – Pak Kung Au Section. Beware of traffic! Then cross a stone bridge

  16. Change your route to the direction of Wong Nai Tun Village Tai Tong Bus Stop when you see another junction

  17. After about 500m walk, continue on the road to the direction of Wong Nai Tun Village Tai Tong Bus Stop

  18. Continue to the direction of Wong Nai Tun Village Tai Tong Bus Stop

  19. Arrive at the AFCD barrier. Continue your walk along pedestrian road

  20. Walk down along pedestrian road after passing by the AFCD nursery.

  21. Get into Tai Tong Barbeque Area

  22. Turn right to Tai Tong Nature Trail

  23. Walk along Tai Tong Nature Trail. Watch your steps!

  24. Keep left when you see another junction. Then arrive at a green gate (the back gate of PLK Jockey Club Tai Tong Holiday Camp). This gate will be opened ONLY during the event days.

  25. Walk/run for about 1km inside the Camp and Cross the Finish Line, TOGETHER!

  31. Change of Team Member • Leader of each team in the Open Team Category cannot be changed • Event day - fill in the Change of Team Member Form and pay a fee of $200 in cash on site

  33. Start time and Registration (20 Nov) All teams MUST start at designated times and register at least 30-45 minutes before starting. Late teams might be assigned to the next start time.

  34. 24-hour Team NEW! • Quota: 50 teams (numbers :5001-5050) • Criteria: 3 members finishing within 24 hrs in past 3 years • Placed right behind the 30 Super Trailwalker teams
