  2. “A Tourism “Centre of Excellence” is a tourism destination with one or more thematic strengths where the quality of the tourism experience [people, places, information and products] attracts visitors over time to sustain a community [within a defined geographic locality] through focused economic activity, maintaining and/or enhancing that environment”.   9. ObjectiveTo develop a single unified product based around rural cycling to be identified as a centre of excellence. Cycling already supports the tourism industry in the area and there is potential to build on and extend this activity to increase public participation and matching activity with business development.   10. £ 3.3m Project Cost £1.5m Total EU Grant Objectives The Trust has identified an opportunity to create a Centre of Excellence which will work as a Regional ‘hub’ at the heart of Aberdaron. This will provide a visitor focus and be a visitor attraction in itself, as well as a touchpoint from which visitors will be encouraged to discover other places to enjoy on the Llŷn. £3.3m Cost y Prosiect £1.5m Cyfanswm Grant EU Amcan Mae'r Ymddiriedolaeth wedi nodi cyfle i greu Canolfan Rhagoriaeth a fydd yn gweithio fel 'canolbwynt' Rhanbarthol wrth wraidd Aberdaron. Bydd hyn yn rhoi ffocws i ymwelwyr ac yn atyniad i ymwelwyr ynddo'i hun, yn ogystal â bod yn ganolbwynt ,gan y bydd ymwelwyr yn cael eu hannog i ddarganfod llefydd eraill i'w mwynhau ar y Llŷn.
