Step 1: Choose a Product or Service • Think of a product in which the functionality has been significantly altered by a computer. • Examples: • Cars • Music • Video • Travel • Books • Entertainment (video games, restaurants, etc.)
Directions • Slide 1: Cover Slide: Include Title, Name, and Product • Slides 2-3: What was the product/service like before computers were used to create it. Describe functionality. • Slide 4: When and why was the computer introduced to the product/service • Slides 5-6: Describe the functionality after the computer was introduced. What benefits have come from the computer, what setbacks have come from the computer. • Slide 7: Overall opinion. Did you prefer the product before or after? Do you think that the computer has a positive or negative impact on us as a society (lazier, unintelligent, too dependant on technology, etc.)
