  2. The plot summary for chapter 16 The plot for this chapter is that Passapartout meets up with Fix traveling on the Rangoon (The Rangoon was the name of the steam boat they were traveling on). Passapartout and Fix discus further traveling plans on the Rangoon. And supposedly Fix will stop for a few days at Hong Kong.

  3. Chapter 17 Summary Chapter 17 is when PhileasFogg and his crew Finally Landed in Hong Kong after they Left the Singapore Harbor. When they Landed in Hong Kong, Phileas got everyone horses and they looked around town. They saw many plants and animals such as Tigers, Horses, Monkeys, Etc. They decided to go on the ship. But the engine lost a screw and broke down.
