  11. CDMA2000 Network Evolution • Ten networks have commercially deployed EV-DO Rev. B, and another nine are in deployment • 32 EV-DO Rev. B devices from 14 suppliers have been commercialized • KDDI, Sprint and other leading CDMA2000 operators will be deploying DO Advanced in 2012 • Sprint is deploying HD Voice now • Nine CDMA2000 operators have deployed LTE, with another 16 in deployment • Over 20+ dual mode (CDMA/LTE) devices are on the market and increasing rapidly • At the end of 2011, China Telecom became the largest CDMA2000 operator in the world serving more than 132M people, including more than 41M EV-DO subs (Feb. 2012) CDMA2000 networks generated over $150 billion in 2011

Device Shipments • 250 million CDMA2000 devices were shipped in 2011 • The CAGR of CDMA2000 device shipments is expected to be 5.5% • Up to 85% of all CDMA2000 devices will be enabled by EV-DO • 93% of new CDMA2000 subscriptions include the purchase of a EV-DO device • Analysts are forecasting up to 741M CDMA2000 subscribers by the end of 2016, including 563M EV-DO subs • As of March 2012, there were more than 15M LTE subscribers worldwide; nearly 75% of these subscribers are on CDMA2000/LTE networks

CDG Advocacy Efforts • Promote broadband revenue-generating data services • Large selection of 3G devices and services (video, computing, M2M, LBS, etc.) is driving revenue growth and deployment of 4G • “Smart pipes” enabled by IP connectivity, eHRPD, QoS, etc., support service enablement, data intensive applications and alternative revenue streams • Promote 3G migration and interoperability with 4G • Promote Expansion of the 3G/4G ecosystem Influence opinions to help fortify existing businesses and expand into new businesses
