Report My Driving Driver’s Alert
Calls Per Vehicle • State : for every 10 vehicles with a sticker we have had 3 calls. • Agency A: for every 10 vehicles with a sticker we have had 11+ calls. • State has 1 speeding call for every 14 vehicles. • Agency A has 1 speeding call for every 2 vehicles
Trainings Per Call • State: 25% of all calls led to an online training session. • Agency A: 1% of all calls led to an online training session. • Training in required for anyone with 2 or more calls. • Only 10% of the drivers with multiple calls at Agency A have received the training.
Agency A’s APD CLAIMS • While the state saw a decrease in losses, Agency A’s Auto Physical Damage (APD) claims DOUBLED last year. • Most were one vehicle accidents • Most one vehicle accidents are caused by speed or distraction.
What Can You Do? • DOAS Mail and Courier started weekly training and calls went from 2 per driver over a 60 day period to zero for 250 days. 8 vehicles • New Horizon made it a source of pride and they went 400 days without a call. 71 vehicles • SOS put in GPS devices and have had 1 speeding call in the last year. 63 vehicles • Utilize daily safety blasts from ARI for all of your vehicles for free.
Why Should You Care? • All the money comes from the same pot. • Premiums will be based on loss experience. • When you rear end a vehicle or hit a fixed object, it costs your agency an additional $500. 100% avoidable! • Your agency has a Driver Qualification Program. Do You Qualify?
What’s Are The Goals? • To make you a better driver. • To make your roads safer for all drivers. • To allow the public to have a “say.” • To send you home the way you came to work.
