  4. The teaching EDGE is a tool that you can use as a guide to teaching younger scouts. It’s set up in a certain way that allows the skill to be taught effectively Purpose of Teaching EDGE

  6. Explain what you are going to teach and why.Explain what the purpose of the skill is. Explain

  7. Demonstrate the skill. Ensure that your audience can see and hear you clearly. Give your demonstration at a slow pace so that each step is clearly demonstrated. Demonstrate

  8. Provide the tools and materials and tools needed for the learners to complete the task. Guide them through the exercise the first time. Repetition is essential. Guide

  9. Evaluate the effort. Encourage the learners to keep trying until they master the skill. Then you have enabled them to go off and use the skill when appropriate. Enable

  10. The paper boat was something I learned when I was seven. It involves a lot of folding but is not that hard. It can float in water. You can make these when ever you want to show off in front of your friends. Explain Paper Boat
