  3. Facts About Solar Energy • Solar panels do not work at night. • Germany, Japan, and the United States are major markets for solar cells. • It does not make noise.

  4. How Solar Energy Works • Solar Energy is the suns rays that reach the Earth. This energy can be converted into other types of energy, such as heat and electricity. • To use solar energy, engineers might install solar panels on a house, an office, and any other solar complex.

  5. Disadvantages Of Solar Energy • Solar Energy is costly to install into a house or buildings. Depending on the size of the complex, the prices could range from $30,000-$70,000. • It has to involve a large area of space.

  6. Advantages of Solar Energy Solar energy never runs out. Lasts a very long time. They are much cheaper than loud, expensive turbines. Solar energy, besides electricity, can help produce heat. The power source of the sun is absolutely free. The production of solar energy produces no pollution. Most systems have a lifespan of 30 to 40 years.

  7. Solar Energy Is Good for the Environment Solar energy is green. Solar energy uses light from the sun, which is hitting the Earth a way to make electrical power without burning fuel or polluting in any way.

  8. Solar Energy Renewable Or Nonrenewable Solar energy is renewable. Solar energy is considered renewable because the Sun's rays will never run out. There will be a constant supply of it in our lifetime.

  9. Solar Energy In Pittsburgh Although there are only 100 days of sun a year in Pittsburgh, you are able to use Solar energy in Pittsburgh, but you will only have Solar energy during the day time. Solar energy will be good for the environment because it is clean, and renewable.

  10. Solar energy does look plentiful in the future because it is a renewable resource and the sun will never go away. Solar Energy does look good in the future.
