  3. The fairy tale, told orally, is a sub-genre of the folktale. Definition A fairy tale is a type of short story that typically features folkloric fantasy characters, such as fairies, goblins, elves, trolls, dwarves, giants, mermaids, or gnomes, and usually magic or enchantments. Fairy tales may be distinguished from other folk narratives such as legends and explicitly moral tales, including beast fables.

  4. The earliest fairy tales circulated in text form in BC, 1,300 years of ancient Egypt, since that ,fairy tales began to appear in the forms of writing, literary work. A lot of evidences show that the fairy tales are based on folk tales re-written. These stories are usually from the oldest folk tales, such as the “Arabian Nights”, “Vampyre Story”. Adults are intended readers of the first fairy tales, but in 19th and 20th centuries, fairy tale began to transform into a part of children's literature. History
