Young Members Group JOIN THE YOUNG MEMBERS GROUP The mission of the MDS Young Members Group is to support and expand the network of outstanding young neurologists, basic scientists and other allied health care providers who have an interest in the field of Movement Disorders. The focus will be on advancing collaborations amongst young members and focus on educational activities and training. All members of the MDS who are under age 40 may join the MDS Young Members Group. Membership Types • Regular - $300 U.S. AnnuallyClinicians, other health professionals, researchers and policy makers in Movement Disorders • Health Professional - $100/$175* U.S. AnnuallyApplies to nurses, nurse practitioners, clinical nurse specialists, occupational therapists, physical/physiotherapists, music therapists, speech therapists, clinical psychologists, dieticians, genetic counselors, social workers and lab technicians. • Junior - FreeApplies to residents, fellows, and those training in healthcare or scientific research. Status must be certified in writing by the member's employer and submitted with payment. • Student - FreeMedical students and undergraduate students in medicine and science. • Waived Dues – Free to eligible applicantsSpecifically designed to enable those on a lower income to join the Society. Countries classified as "low, lower-middle, or upper-middle-income" economies by the World Bank are eligible. • Associate – Free to eligible applicants**Designed to act as a 12-month trial period of membership with the Society. Open to participants of eligible MDS educational activities (live and online). ** Industry Professionals are not eligible to participate in the Associate membership program
