  2. 何為醫學資訊學 • 醫學資訊學(Medical Informatics)的領域在於資訊科技與醫學專業的結合應用 • 醫學資訊學是一門結合生物資訊與知識來處理醫學資訊的儲存、檢索、交流，以解決問題與協助決策的科學

  3. 醫學資訊傳輸 • 醫學資訊傳輸(Medical Information Communications)在於應用資訊科技與網路技術，將各式醫學資訊以標準的資料格式與通訊協定準傳送在不同的系統間

  4. 醫學資訊傳輸 • 在不同的醫療資訊系統(Healthcare Information Systems)間進行醫學影像與文字傳輸需要克服下列因素 • 不同的作業平台 • 不同醫療儀器 • 不同的儀器製造廠

  5. 醫學影像傳輸 • 醫學影像傳輸標準：DICOM(Digital Imaging and Communications in Medcine) • 目前為DICOM3.0 • 用於數位醫學影像傳送、顯示、與儲存作業 • 定義影像及其相關資訊的組成格式與交換方式 • 不同的影像設備，只要遵守DICOM的標準，即可以進行影像的交換
