  3. IN ITALY, AND ESPECIALLY IN SOME REGIONS OF THE SOUTH, THE TOMBOLA IS TRADITIONALLY CONSIDERED “THE CHRISTMAS’ GAME”. AT CHRISTMAS TIME ADULTS AND KIDS SPENDS LONG NIGHTS PLAYING TOMBOLA JUST TO WIN SYMBOLICS PRIZES LIKE CANDIES, LITTLE PRESENTS, OR SOME MONEY. THE ORIGINS OF THIS GAME ARE VERY OLD, SOME PEOPLE SAYS IT WAS BORN 1000 YEARS BEFORE CHRYST’S BORN!

  4. THE GAME’S ROULES

ONE OF THE PLAYERS HAS THE ROLE OF “CROUPIER” EVERY TURN ; HE HAS A BILLBOARD AND A LITTLE CONTAINER ON THE BILLBOARD THERE ARE ALL THE NUMBERS FROM 1 TO 90, THE LITTLE CONTAINER IS FILLED WITH NUMBERED PIECES. HIS JOB IS TO EXTRACT THE NUMBERS RANDOMLY, AND HE ANNOUNCES THE ONES TO THE PLAYERS. THE PLAYERS HAVE ONE OR MORE FOLDER BUYED BEFORE, COMPOSED OF 3 LINES. THAT CONTAINS 5 NUMBERS FROM 1 TO 90. EVERY TIME THAT THE EXTRACTED NUMBER IS ONE ARE MORE FOLDERS,THE PLAYER COVERS THE BOX. THE GOAL OF THE GAME IS TO COVER ALL THE NUMBER OF ONE OF THE FOLDERS. NORMALLY THERE ARE SMALL PRIZES FOR INTERMEDIAL RESULTS, LIKE THE “AMBO” FOR WHO COVERS 2 BOXES ON THE SAME LINE, THE “TERNO” FOR WHO COVERS 3 BOXES ON THE SAME LINE, THE “QUATERNA” 4 BOXES ON THE SAME LINE AND THE “CINQUINA” 5 BOXES ON THE SAME LINE.
