Emergent Properties of Balinese Water Temple Networks: A Study of Coadaptation

This work explores the complex interactions within Balinese water temple networks, highlighting how farmers adapt to ecological feedback mechanisms through cooperative practices. Drawing on survey responses from 150 farmers and insights from previous studies, the research illustrates the relationship between water supply and farmers' major concerns. By examining these emergent properties, this study sheds light on the cultural and ecological dynamics influencing agricultural practices in Bali, contributing to our understanding of sustainability and coadaptation in resource management.
