Lower Emissions & Higher MPG • Reduced emissions of hydrocarbons (HC) and carbon monoxide (CO) to near-zero levels • Particulate matter (PM) reduced by more than 99% • 2010 engines will cut oxides of nitrogen (NOx) emissions by more than 90 % • Lower CO2 emissions (30-40%)than gasoline • Better fuel efficiency than gasoline or CNG 7
