  4. Homework Belief Statement • 4 R’s • Respect child’s ability/dev. level • Relate to classroom experience • Reasonable amount • Responsible for learning *Guideline of 10 minutes per grade *50-60 minutes per day for 5/6

Homework Assignments • No more than 60 MINUTES per night • 15 min looking for assignment • 8 min calling a friend for assignment • 2 min explaining why Mr. J is mean • 8 min playing with a pet • 10 min getting a snack • 5 min checking the TV guide • 2 min teacher never explained the assignment • 10 min waiting formom or dad to do the assignment

  6. Progress Reporting • Classroom subjects will be graded with this percentage scale. • A 90-100% • B 80-89% • C 70-79% • D 60-69% • F 0-59%
