Support your point of view, solution, or causes and/or effects with details and evidence. 3. Put your ideas in the order that best communicates what you are trying to say. SENTENCE CONSTRUCTION 4. Use clear and varied sentences. USAGE 5. Use words correctly. MECHANICS 6. Capitalize, spell, and punctuate correctly. 7. When you write your essay, write it neatly and clearly.
