General Objective To practice security staff in the processing of ship stores deliveries to the Port Facility
Specific Objectives • To practice the procedures for the control of deliveries to the Port Facility • To practice security staff in the conduct of checks on vehicles entering the Port Facility • To enhance the security awareness of threats to the Port Facility • Meet or better the specified compliance benchmark for this drill
Required Attainments • Security staff will be able to: • Apply the procedures for the screening of vehicles entering the Port Facility • Check the appointments for delivery of ship stores at the specified date and time • Detect anomalies in the documentation for ship stores
Control Team • Chief Controller: PFSO, Mr. AAA • Controllers • Driver 1 – Mr. XXX • Driver 2 – Mr. YYY
Scenario • The Port Facility should be notified to expect deliveries of stores sent to a ship at the Port Facility • Security checks should be performed efficiently to expedite handling of the ship stores • Port Facility security staff are expected to verify each delivery against the notification received
Controller Mission Two trucks will attempt to deliver ship stores without notifying the Port Facility of the delivery beforehand
Controller Tasks • Carry the “Letter of • Identification” and tender it • if harassed

Safety • Physical safety of personnel is paramount • There is to be no physical contact between participants and controllers acting as intruders, etc. • Security staff are not to use abusive language when talking to controllers acting as “intruders” • Do not neglect the safety of equipment
