  6. General Objective To impart a greater sense of awareness among employees of the security threat to the Port Facility

  7. Specific Objectives • To raise the awareness among employees of the security threat from the seaward approaches to the Port Facility • To practice security staff in the procedures for handling persons deemed to be engaged in undesirable or suspicious activity on board vessels approaching the Port Facility • Meet or better the specified benchmark response times for this drill.

  8. Required Attainments • Security staff will be able to: • Detect vessels approaching the Port Facility from seaward • Recognise undesirable or suspicious activity by persons on board vessels approaching the Port Facility • Interdict undesirable activity that may be detrimental to the Port Facility
