    3. 1992:Lancement au Ministre de la Production Valeur Ajoute (PVA) Inspirs par les conclusions dune tude du MIT 1985-1990 sur lindustrie automobile mondiale et ralise par les professeurs Womack , Jones et Roos. Un livre a t publi , suite cette tude sous le titre : THE MACHINE THAT CHANGED THE WORLD et qui nous fait dcouvrir le systme Toyota. Ce livre a eu une grande influence et est devenu un best seller. Les auteurs ont baptis ce nouveau paradigme Lean Production . On utlise aussi le terme Lean Manufacturing
