pscd strengths
PSCD Strengths
  • For the past 10 years, a greater percentage of PCSD students have demonstrated proficiency, in all core subject areas, than the Utah state average
  • There has been a 41% increase in the number of Hispanic students and a 31% increase in Low Income students since 2004, there have been consistent increases in overall proficiency rates in all subjects
  • 5 out of 7 schools have demonstrated consistent improvement in proficiency rates in all subject areas over the past 10 years.
    • 7 out of 7 have demonstrated overall increases in Language Arts
    • 6 out of 7 have demonstrated overall increases in Math
    • 6 out of 7 have demonstrated overall increases in Science
  • All schools have made significant strides in closing the achievement gap in all subjects
