  2. Spatial Inequality Definition • Spatial Inequality: the unequal distribution of wealth or resources in a geographic area, so that some places are richer than others.

  3. House In Detroit (poor) This house in Detroit is home to a poverty-stricken family. They may have electricity and running water, but they struggle to pay there bills. They have low paying jobs and bad schooling.

  4. House in Detroit (rich) This is a wealthy families home in Detroit. They have electricity, running water, nice plumbing. They receive good education and they have a high income job.

  5. House in Mexico City (poor) This shack is home to a penniless family in Mexico City. They don’t have electricity and running water. They have low paying jobs and take public transportation to work.

  6. House in Mexico City (rich) This house is home to a prosperous family in Mexico City. They have electricity, running water, and good plumbing. They have high income jobs and receive good education.
