  7. Stereotypes • Drunks • The worst thing the Slovaks ever did was separate from the Czechs, who are much more successful. • Slovaks walk around looking like it is the worst day in their lives. Why don’t they smile more'? • Slovakia is quite undeveloped, and it has not made it out of the industrial age.

  13. Business culture • Strict hierarchies • Titles and experience are very important • Decision making is restricted to one person or a very small group • They follow through and meet deadlines without having to be reminded

  16. Compared to the USA • Just because you have experience doesn’t mean you are top dog • Sometimes leaders make decisions that are only good for them
