Modernizing Inventory Management at Snax in the City

Snax in the City, a convenience store with 5 employees, needs to upgrade its inventory tracking system to solve issues like lost records, human errors, and overstocking. The current paper-and-pen system results in inaccurate inventories, leading to loss in income. To address this, the project aims to monitor stocks, track inventories, and improve customer transactions. This initiative will enhance efficiency, reduce errors, and optimize product offerings, ensuring customer satisfaction and increased profitability.

The employees sell the products. • Cashiers and take inventory through a paper-and-pen system. • The employees restock based on how much was deducted from the inventory the previous month. • Management analyzes the inventories in order to analyze which products are in demand and which products should the convenience store stop selling and what to order. • The store adopts on what people usually demand on convenient stores and try to order and make customers leave with satisfaction.
