  4. EOA MISSION Enhance human relations and organizational effectiveness through the support of leadership to ensure accomplishment of the 1st Medical Brigade’s mission in peace and war. Assist the Commander in fostering a command climate that generates a positive feeling about life in the Brigade for all soldiers and family members.

  5. EO MISSION Serve as the Commander’s principle advisor on equal opportunity matters. Assist the Commander and subordinate commanders in determining their local equal opportunity climate by identifying issues of concern and ensuring regulatory compliance.

  6. Roles of the EOA • Advisor to the Commander • Trainer/Educator • Assessor • Change Agent • Manage the EO Program for the Commander • Gain the Soldiers Trust

  7. Tools of the EOA • Diversity Management • Command Policy/Procedures • Unit Development Training • Small Group Facilitation • DoD Mediator Certified
