  1. EQUAL OPPORTUNITY Strategy 1 – Increase Stakeholder Satisfaction 1. Complete impartial, thorough and fair investigations within appropriate timelines as established by HUD, EEOC, and County Policy. • Reduce claims of employment discrimination which have been pending for more than one year by 50%. • Close a minimum of 120 cases alleging employment discrimination under both federal and local law. • Continue to close housing cases within 100 days. Strategy 2 – Enhance Revenue to Department 2. Reduce general revenue costs by billing maximum allowable to Federal Dept. of Housing and Urban Development for services rendered. • Close claims of housing discrimination w/in 100 days. • Close 120 cases filed with the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC). • Reduce staffing costs by engaging in Independent Contractors relationships where warranted . GOAL: Equal Housing and Employment Opportunity for all.
