SERAPHIM • ISAIAH 6:2 Describes the creatures around the throne called Seraphim—each had 6 wings and cry out “Holy Holy Holy is the LORD Almighty; the whole earth is full of his glory.”” • Revelation 4:6-8 In the center, around the throne, were four living creatures, and they were covered with eyes, in front and in back. The first living creature was like a lion, the second was like an ox, the third had a face like a man, the fourth was like a flying eagle. Each of the four living creatures had six wings and was covered with eyes all around, even under its wings. Day and night they never stop saying: “‘Holy, holy, holy is the Lord God Almighty,’ who was, and is, and is to come

THE THRONE: EZEKIEL: And above the firmament that was over their heads was the likeness of a throne, as the appearance of a sapphire stone: and upon the likeness of the throne was the likeness as the appearance of a man (GOD) above upon it. And I saw as the color of amber, as the appearance of fire round about within it, from the appearance of his loins even upward, and from the appearance of his loins even downward, I saw as it were the appearance of fire, and it had brightness round about. As the appearance of the bow that is in the cloud in the day of rain, so was the appearance of the brightness round about. This was the appearance of the likeness of the glory of the LORD. And when I saw it, I fell upon my face, and I heard a voice of one that spoke. (THE COVENANT GOD MADE WITH NOAH) REVELATION: And he that sat was to look upon like a jasper and a sardine stone: and there was arainbow round about the throne, in sight like unto an emerald. …And before the throne there was a sea of glass like unto crystal: and in the midst of the throne, and round about the throne, were four beasts full of eyes before and behind.

CHAPTER 2 EZEKIEL IS CALLED UPON TO BE A MESSENGER FOR GOD BECOMES FILLED WITH THE HOLY SPIRIT SPEAK TO THE PEOPLE OF ISRAEL LIKE JEREMIAH, GOD TELLS HIM MANY WILL SPEAK AGAINST HIM AND PUT HIM DOWN SHOULD NOT FEAR THIS FOR GOD IS WITH HIM THEY WILL KNOW THAT THEY WERE AMONGST A PROPHET OF GOD

  18. EZEKIEL 2:8-10 But you, son of man, hear what I say unto you; Do not be rebellious like that rebellious house (Israel): open your mouth, and eat what I give you. And when I looked, behold, a hand was sent unto me; and, lo, a roll of a book was therein; And he spread it before me; and it was written within and without (on both sides): and there was written therein lamentations, and mourning, and woe. EAT THE SCROLL

  19. EZEKIEL 3:1-3 Moreover he said unto me, Son of man, eat what you find; eat this roll, and go speak unto the house of Israel. So I opened my mouth, and he caused me to eat that roll. And he said unto me, Son of man, cause your belly to eat, and fill your bowels with this roll that I give you. Then did I eat it; and it was in my mouth as honey for sweetness. …After the vision he went in bitterness. CHAPTER 3

And I went unto the angel, and said unto him, Give me the little book. And he said unto me, Take it, and eat it up; and it shall make your belly bitter, but it shall be in your mouth sweet as honey. And I took the little book out of the angel's hand, and ate it up; and it was in my mouth sweet as honey: and as soon as I had eaten it, my belly was bitter. And he said unto me, Thou must prophesy again before many peoples, and nations, and tongues, and kings.

  21. EZEKIEL 3:4-11 TELLS EZEKIEL HE IS SENDING HIM AMONGST HIS OWN PEOPLE THE LORD HAS MADE EZEKIEL TOUGH; THEY WILL NOT LISTEN TO HIM BECAUSE THE WILL NOT LISTEN TO THE LORD EZEKIEL GO SPEAK TO THE CAPTIVES WHETHER THEY LISTEN OR NOT

  22. EZEKIEL 3:12-15 SPIRIT LIFTS UP EZEKIEL AND THE 4 CREATURES CARRY HIM AWAY HE WENT IN BITTERNESS IN THE HEART OF HIS SPIRIT DROPPED EZEKIEL OFF AMONGST THE CAPTIVES IN BABYLON HE WAS ASTONISHED AMONG THEM FOR 7 DAYS

  23. A “WATCHMAN” EZEKIEL 3:16-21 • Ezekiel is made a WATCHMAN: is to give warning to the house of Israel from the Lord • When I say to the wicked, ‘You shall surely die,’ and you give him no warning, nor speak to warn the wicked from his wicked way, to save his life, that same wicked man shall die in his iniquity; but his blood I will require at your hand. Yet, if you warn the wicked, and he does not turn from his wickedness, nor from his wicked way, he shall die in his iniquity; but you have delivered your soul • “Again, when a righteous man turns from his righteousness and commits iniquity, and I lay a stumbling block before him, he shall die; because you did not give him warning, he shall die in his sin, and his righteousness which he has done shall not be remembered; but his blood I will require at your hand. Nevertheless if you warn the righteous man that the righteous should not sin, and he does not sin, he shall surely live because he took warning; also you will have delivered your soul.”

  25. JEREMIAH 11 • IN JERUSALEM THE FORM A CONSPIRACY AGAINST YOU • The LORD called you a thriving olive tree with fruit beautiful in form. But with the roar of a mighty storm he will set it on fire, and its branches will be broken. • Because the LORD revealed their plot to me, I knew it, for at that time he showed me what they were doing. I had been like a gentle lamb led to the slaughter; I did not realize that they had plotted against me, saying, “Let us destroy the tree and its fruit; let us cut him off from the land of the living, that his name be remembered no more.”

EZEKIEL 3:24-27 • Then the Spirit entered me and set me on my feet, and spoke with me and said to me: “Go, shut yourself inside your house. • And you, O son of man, surely they will put ropes on you and bind you with them, so that you cannot go out among them. I will make your tongue cling to the roof of your mouth, so that you shall be mute and not be one to rebuke them, for they are a rebellious house. • But when I speak with you, I will open your mouth, and you shall say to them, ‘Thus says the Lord GOD.’ He who hears, let him hear; and he who refuses, let him refuse; for they are a rebellious house.

  27. CHAPTER 4 CREATING JERUSALEM’S FALL EZEKIEL 4:1-3“Now, son of man, take a block of clay, put it in front of you and draw the city of Jerusalem on it. Then lay siege to it: Erect siege works against it, build a ramp up to it, set up camps against it and put battering rams around it. Then take an iron pan, place it as an iron wall between you and the city and turn your face toward it. It will be under siege, and you shall besiege it. This will be a sign to the people of Israel.

  28. BEARING THE SINS OF ISRAEL: “Then lie on your left side and put the sin of the people of Israel upon yourself. You are to bear their sin for the number of days you lie on your side. I have assigned you the same number of days as the years of their sin. So for 390 days you will bear the sin of the people of Israel.

  29. BEARING THE SINS OF JUDAH: “After you have finished this, lie down again, this time on yourright side, and bear the sin of the people of Judah. I have assigned you 40 days, a day for each year. Turn your face toward the siege of Jerusalem and with bared arm prophesy against her. I will tie you up with ropes so that you cannot turn from one side to the other until you have finished the days of your siege.

EZEKIEL 5 • TAKE A SHARP SWORD & CUT HAIR/BEARD • BURN WITH 1/3RD IN THE MIDST OF JERURSALEM • when the days of the siege are finished; then you shall take one-third and strike around it with the sword, and one-third of you shall scatter in the wind: I will draw out a sword after them. You shall also take a small number of them and bind them in the edge of your garment. Then take some of them again and throw them into the midst of the fire, and burn them in the fire. From there a fire will go out into all the house of Israel.

MORE VERSES ON MAN IN LINEN DANIEL 10:5-6 I was by the side of the great river, that is, the Tigris, I lifted my eyes and looked, and behold, a certain man clothed in linen, whose waist was girded with gold of Uphaz! His body was like beryl, his face like the appearance of lightning, his eyes like torches of fire, his arms and feet like burnished bronze in color, and the sound of his words like the voice of a multitude. DANIEL 12:6-7 And one said to the man clothed in linen, which was upon the waters of the river, How long shall it be to the end of these wonders? The man clothed in linen, who was above the waters of the river, lifted his right hand and his left hand toward heaven, and I heard him swear by him who lives forever, saying, "It will be for a time, times and half a time. When the power of the holy people has been finally broken, all these things will be completed."(Matthew 24:3/Mark 13:4) REVELATION 15:6 Out of the temple came the seven angels with the seven plagues. They were dressed in clean, shining linen and wore golden sashes around their chests.

  42. REVELATION 7:1-4 • Then I saw four angels standing at the four corners of the earth, holding back the four winds so they did not blow on the earth or the sea, or even on any tree. And I saw another angel coming up from the east, carrying the seal of the living God. And he shouted to those four angels, who had been given power to harm land and sea, “Wait! Don’t harm the land or the sea or the trees until we have placed the seal of God on the foreheads of his servants.”  And I heard how many were marked with the seal of God—144,000 were sealed from all the tribes of Israel:

CITY ON FIRE • And I looked, and there in the firmament that was above the head of the cherubim, there appeared something like a sapphire stone, having the appearance of the likeness of a throne. Then He (GOD) spoke to the man clothed with linen, and said, “Go in among the wheels, under the cherub, fill your hands with coals of fire from among the cherubim, and scatter them over the city.” And he went in as I watched.

  45. ISAIAH 6:4-6 • Then I said, “It’s all over! I am doomed, for I am a sinful man. I have filthy lips, and I live among a people with filthy lips. Yet I have seen the King, the Lord of Heaven’s Armies.” • Then one of the seraphim flew to me with a burning coal he had taken from the altar with a pair of tongs. He touched my lips with it and said, “See, this coal has touched your lips. Now your guilt is removed, and your sins are forgiven.”

  46. EZEKIEL 10 CONT. cherubim were standing on the south side of the temple when the man went in and the cloud filled the inner court. Then the glory of the LORD went up from the cherub, and paused over the threshold of the temple; and the house was filled with the cloud, and the court was full of the brightness of the LORD’s glory. And the sound of the wings of the cherubim was heard even in the outer court, like the voice of Almighty God when He speaks. Then it happened, when He commanded the man clothed in linen, saying, “Take fire from among the wheels, from among the cherubim,” that he went in and stood beside the wheels. And the cherub stretched out his hand from among the cherubim to the fire that was among the cherubim, and took some of it and put it into the hands of the man clothed with linen, who took it and went out..
