  11. The global warming[ˈwɔːmɪŋ] iscaused by greenhouseeffects.

  12. So whatshouldwe do? What for?

  13. Weshould recycle, reuse, or reducein order to… …protect the environment and take care of the Earth (especially for future generations).

  15. SOLUTIONS! Now, think! What can we do? Group work! The 3R’s  ACTIONS! • REDUCE • RECYCLE • REUSE

  16. What can youreduce?... Think of examples of thingsyou can reduce. List them! Then I will help you!  Weshouldreduce the kitchenwaste. Weshouldreduce the consumption of water. Weshouldreduce the use of plastic bags. For exampleyou can compost fruit, eggshells… For examplewhenyou go to the supermarket… For examplewhenyoubrushyourteeth…

  17. What can yourecycle?... What are the recyclable [ˌriːˈsaɪkləbl] materials? Giveexamples, then I will help you!  Weshouldreduce glass, paper, metal[ˈmɛtl], plastic, fabrics[ˈfæbrɪks] and electronics[ɪlɛkˈtrɒnɪks] . Weshould put these recyclable materials in the appropriate[əˈprəʊprɪɪt]bin!

  18. What can youreuse?... Think of objectsyoudon’t use anymore… but you can reuse for somethingelse. Giveexamples, then I will help you!  Icecream sticks can bereused to make bookmarks. Old clothes and shoes can bedonated [dəʊˈneɪtɪd] to poor people. Newspapers can bereused for wrapping gifts. We can reuse batteries if they are rechargeable [riːˈʧɑːʤəbl].
