Here are some quick facts about schools districts. • There are 501 school districts in Pennsylvania. • School district student enrollments range from 267 to 214,288. • The number of school buildings operated in a single district ranges from 1 to 264. • Pennsylvania public schools spend more than $18.4 billion each year to provide educational services to more than 1.8 million students.
