Freescale in Romania

In Romania, during the last 12 years, Freescale has created a center of technical excellence, research and development in software, where approximately 230 engineers leverage their creativity and innovative solutions.

This year, over 35 engineers joined the local team. We continue our adventure by identifying new talents for openings from student positions to 4G/LTE experts.

Freescale's priorities in research and development area in Romania include applications for telecomm equipment used in wireless and wireline networking, signal processing for wireless base stations, network security applications, low-power wireless connectivity, ZigBee stack profiles and application profiles, AUTOSAR related development, integrated development tools (debuggers, compilers and Performance Analysis tools) for company's processors.
