Fauji Group mobilized in January 2005, with contracts for licensors and engineering finalized shortly after. OCP, a state-owned Moroccan entity founded in 1920, specializes in phosphate mining and phosphoric acid production, solidifying the groundwork for a successful collaboration. The total project cost is estimated at 2030 million MAD with a targeted completion time of 30 months.

Total reserves are ~80 Billion MeT • Joint ventures with India (IMACID & PPL), Belgium/Germany (EMAPHOS) • Joint venture with Brazilian group (BUNGE) is being negotiated
