  2. What is Science Olympiad? It is an annual competition run like a track meet where students can compete in up to three events. March 14, 2020 at Patriots. Students meet once a week on Wednesdays from 3:00 – 4:00 p.m. to study, prepare and practice their events. Meetings will be set up to practice one event each meeting so parents who are coaches only have to come to every third meeting.

  4. March 14, 2020 In order to participate in Science Olympiad club after school on Wednesdays you must commit to attend the Science Olympiad competition on Saturday, March 14th at Patriots. Parents must attend with their students. It is an all-day event. It starts at 8:30 and goes until 2:00. Students will participate in at least 2 events that day. There will be two teams from Patriots competing on March 14th – a Varsity team and a Junior Varsity team.

  5. To participate: Complete the homework and the basic science test administered on Thursday, September 26. Once you receive the invitation to participate and application, please turn it in with $40 entry fee to Mrs. Bartels by Friday, October 4. Parents: Sign up to be a coach. Be sure you have your background check done.
