  8. Grading Guidelines • All subjectsare 50% major grades and 50% minor grades. • Major grades will be circled. • District test will NOT be sent home • Interactive notebooks and Writer’s notebooks will NOT go home. • Conferences always available!

  9. Wednesday Folders • Some items sent electronically. • in the Academics Satisfactory box means your child had no grades below a 75. If the grade is below a 75, it will be written next to the subject. • in the Work Habits and Conduct box means your child is Satisfactory. If their habits or conduct are below an S it will be written in the box.

  10. Wednesday Folders • Please take the time to go over the Wednesday Folder with your child. • Please SIGN and return the Wednesday Folder the next day. • Please keep all papers at home unless they need to be returned. Thank You!

  11. It is very important that your child come to school every day (unless of course they are sick). Please call the front office if they are going to be absent. Please send a note. • Early Dismissals – send a note • 7:50 Instruction Time Attendance

  14. Parent Connection/GradeSpeed *Parent Connection allows you to access your child’s grades, assignments, and attendance via the computer. Please keep in mind that some grades will not be in the grade book right away but we will do our best to post them in a timely manner.

  15. Student Portfolios *Every student will have a portfolio containing student goals, benchmarks, and compositions, etc.

  16. SUPPLIES Please make sure you replenish your child’s school supplies as they need them. • Pencils • Red Pens • Dry Erase Markers • Crayons • Glue Sticks • Kleenex *If your child is missing supplies on a regular basis, it will be reflected in the work habits section of their report card.
