8. What is a PASS Objective Example: 8th grade Objective Central Tendency: Find the measures of central tendency (mean, median, mode, and range) of a set of data and understand why a specific measure provides the most useful information in a given context.

10. What Do Common Core State Standards Look Like? Example: Central Tendency 6th Grade. Develop understanding of statistical variability. Recognize that a measure of center for a numerical data set summarizes all of its values with a single number, while a measure of variation describes how its values vary with a single number.
