  2. Definition • Multicultural education is when we mix students of many different cultures in the same classroom, and teach a little about each culture.

  3. Bilingual Education • Bilingual Education should be part of a regular curriculum but there should be more years devoted to it than only the two that are required now

  4. Reducing Racism • Children should be in contact with different cultures from early in their lives to realize that they are very similar to all the other types of people. • It is usually when there is little exposure to other cultures that racism occurs

  5. Being Aware of Students • Having a multicultural time specified to each school will help teachers and students understand about different cultures and backgrounds as well as who comes from those backgrounds. • The schools should not stop there though, different cultures should be incorporated into different lessons in school as well so that students understand more about that culture and are lest likely to have problems with someone from that background because of ignorance.
