  5. Physical Characteristics • Rapid Growth in Size • Rapid Weight Gain • Sensory Development • Total Mobility Development

  6. Social Characteristics • Separation Anxiety • Easily Frustrated • Able to Fake Emotions • Have Recognizable Personality

  7. Spiritual Characteristics • Seeds of Hope, Faith, Love Developed • Reinforcement & Consistency Important • Mind Being Prepared to Be Receptive

  8. Preschoolers • Mental Characteristics • Vocabulary Goes from 900 to 3000 Words • Learn Basic Concepts

  9. Physical Characteristics • Ride Tricycle • Throw Ball • Stand on One Foot • Unbutton, Unzip, & Unfasten • Can Work Puzzles, etc.

  10. Social Characteristics • Need Clear Consistent Rules • Need Opportunities for Independence • Learn to Share • Need Balance – Quiet & Active • Imaginary Friends • Acts Different Around Others • Learn Empathy
