  2. INTRODUCTION • In this tutorial we will go over the basics to signing up with LinkedIn and creating a professional profile. LinkedIn is used by many to stay informed about their contacts & industry, find the people & knowledge they need to achieve their goals, and to control their professional identity. • Lets start by navigating to www.linkedin.com and filling out the signup form. Click the “Join Now” button next.

  3. STEP 1: Creating your profile • Next, LinkedIn will ask you to start creating your professional profile. • Fill out the required fields. Next, click the “Create my profile” button.

  4. STEP 2: CONTINUING SETUP • There are 7 setup steps to complete, just fill out all of the required fields, and hit next as required. • After that you will have another 7 steps to complete, fill them out clicking “next” after each field or “skip” to ignore a question.

  5. STEP 3: Oh wait, that’s it • You have now created a LinkedIn profile! Anyone on the web who searches your name will be able to see you, and your current/past job positions. You can also search for others you may know on LinkedIn and click “Connect” beside their name to add them as one of your business connections. Don’t forget that LinkedIn also has job postings- make sure to check them out! Jaiden Leach THANKS! || PCNA 2013
