Items to cover • Monthly phone meetings started (2 so far) • Details on Twiki • Item check list to keep us on track – included at end of slides Some items from list • Report • Yet another delay - sorry • BN loaded Hysol • New material ordered from Momentive with bigger grains -> higher conductivity • Order placed 8/3 ? – hopefully have soon • Poco-S/S interface under shear • Mechanical test sample proved jig • Real measurements next week – aim for first data for AUW • Thermal conductivity of Allcomp Foam • Previous measurements were probably wrong • Material appears isotropic with k=70 W/mK measured in through & in-plane • Glue creep measurements • Standards ordered and test spec being written • Foam Modules tests • Difficult problem to understand correctly. • Talking with Ryan Page from “low mass” project viz modelling • Cleavage test of glued CFRP samples • Need new samples • Radiation tests • Big late – working on this for AUW
