  • Saxophone plays for 40 measures repeating every 8.
  • Piano comes in next with the same pattern.

  • In the intro the melody is more straight forward (Less Improvisation)
  • Throughout the improv section, the melody is heard more through the harmonic progression rather than through a single melodic line
  • Listen to the bass!
