  3. “CAMPS FOR ALL ABILITIES”2016 FLOAT • The float depicted various camping activities that Lions Clubs throughout the world provide for hundreds of thousands of individuals of all abilities and ages.

Exposure Equals Value • The Rose Parade is the third most watched event in the United States behind the Super Bowl and the Academy Awards. • A 30-second ad during the Super Bowl cost $3.5-3.8 million in 2014, a 30-second ad during the Academy Awards were sold for $1.8 million in 2014. • A Rose Parade float can be seen on television anywhere between 40-45 seconds. • Given the advent of social media, campaigns for exposure begin as early as April for the Rose Parade, giving the float long lasting “legs” for whatever program your are trying to promote. • One million people line-up on the parade’s 5.5 route, 125,000 spectators are seated in the 3 block radius at the parade’s starting point.

Float riders (4) will be on Feeding the Hungry and Environmental Blocks on both sides of float The package includes: 1. Up to 3 hotel nights 2. One ticket to parade for spouse or guest 3. Reception with International President 4. Pasadena Host Breakfast New Year morning 5. Tour of the Float Barn 6. Transportation to the parade and pick-up

  19. CLUB BANNER PATCH PROGRAM A Banner Parch is a great way for Lions Clubs to display support for their International Lions Clubs Rose Parade Float. Donations of $100 or more will receive a patch to add to their club banner of service recognitions. Individual Lions can also make a donation to receive their own patch for display.

  21. FOUR FELLOWSHIPS Donald E. Banker Fellowship – Memorializes first IP to ride the float on New Year’s Day 1992. Garry Lozaun Fellowship – Memorializes PDG Gary Lozaun, founder of Fellowship Program. Wilt LeBlanc Fellowship – Memorializes PDG Wilt LeBlanc who was involved since the projects inception 1991 until death in 2002. Chuck Overbey Fellowship – Memorializes PDG Chuck Overbey the administrative director of the Fellowship program and member until his death in 2012.
