  5. The muscular system We have more than 600 muscles in our body. They have many important jobs. They do quite a bit to help you. Some things include pumping blood throughout your body, helping you lift items like your backpack, and running and playing.

  7. Let’s look at the skeletal muscle The skeletal muscles are some-times called striated muscle. These are called voluntary muscles. You can control what they do.
