They have 3 sessions to reach a peace agreement. At the end of each formal session the audience is invited to participate in the negotiating process. The M.O.P.E. is a unique exercise in peacemaking and conflict resolution. It is a simulation of a potential Palestinian-Israeli public assembly - a Public Negotiating Congress. The assembly is designed to involve the people in the peacemaking process and pave the way to the replacement of violent sentiment of disputes with drive towards peaceful negotiation. The exercise intends to serve as a laboratory for evaluating possible outcomes of an official Palestinian-Israeli public assembly.
