  2. The Greenbrier County Solid Waste Authority has operated a recycling program for 20+ years. In that time the program has seen many ups and downs. We operate a Drop-Off Center, a Buy-Back Center and we pickup items on a very limited basis. We serve Greenbrier, Monroe, Summers and Pocahontas Counties. We border Virginia, so we also receive a few materials from that area. Over the past few years our program has seen substantial growth. In February of 2007 we relocated our program into a larger facility. The old location could no longer handle the amount of materials coming in. The Authority owned an old Coke Cola bottling plant in Ronceverte and moved our operation to that location. That location has a six car garage that we modified into our public drop-off area.
