  1. Stem cells A basicoverview

  2. Stem cells – What is it? Stem cells are cells that candifferentiateintoany kind of tissue in the body. Unlike the rest of the cells in the bodytheycan ’go wherethey are needed’ and functionaccordingly. They are present in the entirebodythroughoutour life. Please look at this site for a briefexplanation: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Stem_cell

  3. Stem cells – Howdothey work? Stem cells use the same ”communication” system as the immune system. Theyact on signals from the immune system (i.e. when you have an infection, inflammation, injury or tissuebreakdown). These signals triggers the stem cells function to migrate to the affectedsite and to start differentiating in order to repair and/or strenghten.

  4. Stem cells – Whydotheyfail? When you age (or are affected by different stress factors) the efficacy of the stem cells goesdown. As an example, woundsheal faster whenone is younger There are severalreasons for the stem cells to decrease in responseduringageing. One of the mainreasons is that the immune systems’ ability to communicate with the body and the environmentbecomesless efficient. This can be due to age, sickness, diet, genes, allopaticmedications, stress factors, radiation etc.

  5. Stem Cells – Whattheydo Sincestem cells communicate in the same manner as the immune system, it is adviableto enhance your immune communication systems. Please look at the ppt ”Stem Cells – Advanced” for furtherunderstanding. The more the immune system is able to function (enhanced in action and suppressedin rest) the better it will be optimized. Wecall this ”immuno-elasticity”. The immune system needs to be able to ”speed up” whenneeded and ”slow down” whennecessary. A chronic high or lowlevelwill behazardousfor the body.

  6. Stem Cells – Commonlypractised A lot of centres are nowofferingstem cell treatments. The vastmajority is giving the patients an injectabledrug to extractnumereousstem cells from the bonemarrowinto the bloodstream. This willsignificallyincreasethe number of stem cells circulating in the bodytemporarily. Then, the cells are subjected to apharesisand countedbeforereinjecting. It has beenshown in studies that stem cells that are not activated by the signals from the immune system willrevert to the bonemarrowunused. Mostlikely this will not give the patient anylong term benefit.

  7. Stem CellsTransplant-How Our group of researchers has developed a protocol for an individualizedstem cell treatment that has beenclinically proven to be successful. The corner stones in this protocol is: 1. The patients objectives’ (whatdotheywant to achieve)? 2. Priming the body’s immune system in order to achievesuccess after reinjection 3. Withdraw the bodysownstem cells, expand and ”mature” theminto the desiredfunctiontype. 4. Reinjecting the stem cells after oneweek and continue to prime the body

  8. Stem Cells – Advantages of this protocol With ourprotocol the patient will: 1. Usetheirownstem cells. Withoutuse ofanyallopaticpharmaceuticals. 2. Optimize the bodys ”immuno-elasticity” in order to cope with infections, inflammations, injuries and regeneration of the organs. 3. Use a clinically proven protocol that has graduallybeenimprovedover 25 years. 4. Have no risk of developingreactionsagainst the reinjectedstem cells (it is theirown cells).

  9. Stem Cells – limitations This protocolcan, at the moment, only be performed in Germany. The travelitselfcan be a stress factor. Wehavemade sure the treatment is performed over a week in a veryrelaxedand serene surrounding.

  10. Stem Cells - Indications This treatment is suitable for most of the degenerative diseases eg. -Cardiovasculardiseases • Type 1 and 2 diabetes • Cancer in remission • Hepatitis and cirrhosis of the liver • HIV/AIDS • Autoimmune diseases eg. reumatoidarthritis, ellergies, excema, psoriasis, uveitis, ankylosingspondylitis, SLE, MS • Geriatrics
