Course Scoring & Activities Daily HW & Class Assignments • Textbook notes • Surveys • Psychsims • In-class demonstrations • Reading of current news articles related to psychology • Responses to essential questions • Video clips, movies, radio segments Assessments • Unit projects • Open-Note Quizzes/Tests Course scoring is based on total points! *HW is accepted late (until the END of the unit); however, students only receive up to half-credit. *There is no final in this class; however, there is an end-of-the-semester cumulative project that will count as part of their 2nd quarter grade.

Neuroscience: How does the mind-brain relationship explain the presence of evil and/or goodness in humans? • Scientific Method: How powerful and ethical is the placebo effect? • Development:If you were going to adopt a six year old child that had been given up at birth, and you had a choice to review either the orphanage care the child was raised in up to that point or the biological/medical history of the parents, which would you choose?
