Esso wanted to promote their free winter car check service, which motorists received after topping up four times (spending £30 or more) at an Esso garage. Idea. As well as a proximity campaign, targeting motorists near their Esso garage on 6-sheets, we worked with Exxon Mobil to deliver a flexible ‘thermal’ campaign on our roadside digital portfolio, up-weighting the campaign when the weather dropped below 8 degrees.
Exxon Mobil, Esso Campaign details If the average daily temperature dropped below 8 degrees, notice would be given at midday for the ad to run the following day. The campaign would then run on 100 roadside digital 6-sheets and 8 digital 48-sheetsin London.
