  7. Teeth • Made of dentine • Covered in hard enamel • 4 types • Incisors • Canines • Premolars • Molars

  8. Saliva • Dissolves food • 3 glands in mouth • Slippery from mucus • Amylase

  9. Questions • Write SIX questions based on the material from today • Do not just do factual recall (definitions) • Use the words imagine, apply, create, build, etc.

  10. Next step • Hand questions to someone else in the room • Solve the questions you get (5 minutes) • Hand back your questions when you are done

  11. Travel Journal • Write a travel journal as if you are a piece of food (of your choosing) entering the mouth • Discuss what happens to you (chewed up, ebing moved by teeth, saliva getting on you and what it does) and what you see (tonsils, palate, uvula) on your way through the mouth
